I rode my BMW mountain bike roundtrip from the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel to McDonald Beach Park. You can also ride or take your bike on the Skytrain public transit to downtown Vancouver (25 minutes on train). Check out this link for bike routes from the Vancouver Airport.http://www.insidevancouver.ca/2010/03/25/scenic-routes-from-vancouver-international-airport-yvr-cycling-or-combining-with-canada-line-light-rail/
